Kosalika is a silk-based clothing brand specializing in premium western wear. The project aimed to create an elegant and sophisticated brand identity that reflects the luxurious nature of the products. The client sought a design that would communicate both premium quality and the origin of the silk, with an emphasis on elegance and exclusivity. The scope of the project included logo design and brand identity development.

Client Brief

The client wanted the brand to evoke a sense of elegance and premium quality. They requested a logo inspired by the origins of silk and preferred a refined, luxurious aesthetic. Gold accents were emphasized as part of the desired premium feel.

Ideation

The concept focused on symbolizing the origins of silk through nature, particularly the moth, which is closely tied to the production of silk. The design aimed to be both elegant and symbolic of the premium quality of the clothing. The idea was to combine the moth motif with a touch of gold to reinforce the luxury element.

Execution

The logo features a moth-inspired design, with intricate details symbolizing silk and a golden star element to highlight the premium nature of the brand. The wordmark is elegant, with refined typography that complements the overall sophisticated feel of the logo.

Result

The final branding deliverables included the moth-inspired logo, wordmark, and brand guidelines. The client was pleased with the luxurious and elegant identity, which perfectly captures the essence of the premium silk clothing brand.
